This is a package of tools you will come to love. I was going to make a screen shot of the available functions but my screen recorder gagged and would not cooperate!
The download is located at: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/writertools
The killer manual is located at: http://www.lulu.com/content/2115121
The manual is $6.25 via download and the hardcopy is $9.18
Some of the basic functions are:
- A Wiki based online lookup function
- A Google based online Translate function Really nice
- An on Map function (online)
- 3 different kinds of backups ( Handy for on and offsite backups,Manual configure)
- A WikiFy word function
- A timer
- A converter (not very interesting)
- 3 Bookmark functions
- Word of the day Function Random and kinda neat!
- Notebook function (Even useful)
- A database function (This is a manual configuration)
- A task Function
- A converter Function
- A visual word counter
- Lastly at the bottom an ad that take you to LULU
I use the look up function a lot to help out with the writing. Being backup obsessive I wear that function slap out. My next project will be to get comfortable with the database function
