Windows/Linux/MacOS Alternatives?
I’m looking for an interesting “Fringe” OS to install. My current machine is already running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Ubuntu, Suse, MacOS 10.5 (ported to PC), and multiple other Linux Distros. I’ve tried a couple other fringe OS’s (with very limited success). Do you know of any other OS’s that ARE NOT LINUX BASED, that have stable enough releases that might be good to try?

Exactly what I was looking for, a link to reviews of various fringe OS’s. I’ve got a $4000 super computer, and DOS? lol… Very newbish.

Doesn’t it take too much energy to make hydrogen? Is it worth doing?
Like all fuels, it takes energy to produce hydrogen and deliver it to a vehicle. The amount of energy required depends on how the hydrogen is made. Some methods require more energy than others.

While it may take more energy to produce and deliver hydrogen than it takes to produce and deliver gasoline or natural gas, the hydrogen fuel is used more efficiently in hydrogen vehicles. Most hydrogen internal combustion engines (ICEs) are about 25% more efficient than their gasoline counterparts and fuel cells are 100-200% (2-3 times) more efficient. In many cases, the overall “well-to-wheels” energy usage can be much lower for hydrogen vehicles than for gasoline or natural gas vehicles using a conventional internal combustion engine.

What is Microsoft.net framwork used for?
I have like 1.1, 2, and 3 installed o.o n it says used rarely.. so idk do i need it or not, but can you explain what is it used for?

How to Capture dropdowns

Yesterday my power was down most the day and did not get to do a post. Sorry!

In the process of preparing the tutorial for the Draw series there was a problem. How to capture drop down menus. These are the menus that disappear after you move the pointer. If I use the snipping tool I can never capture the dropdown.

Simple solution is to record the dropdown as a video.

Above is a link to the screen recorder that I am using.

This is a simple snip grabbed from the *.avi file that was playing in the media player. I just stopped the video during playback and then did a capture of the stopped video. Not an elegant solution but it works
